If you’ve never been to the Material Lab it’s worth a look.  Based just off Oxford Street it’s been developed with the architectural and design community in mind and is marketed as an “inspiring space in the heart of London: A place to explore the potential of different materials and discover latest trends and innovations”.

The Gentleman’s Magazine, first published in 1731, in London, is considered to have been the first general-interest magazine. The Web was invented by English scientist Tim Berners-Lee in 1989. Take two technologies two hundred and fifty years apart and what do you get?
