The coolest client trip ever

I had apprehensions about our car journey to Modular HQ in Belgium, after hearing horror stories from the last trip of Catherine driving on the wrong side of the road. However at 6am we found ourselves making our way to the Channel Tunnel for our two-day trip. With the help of Terry Wogan guiding us on the Sat Nav and the Spice Girls blaring out of the speakers, we managed to reach our destination without too much difficulty - the Modular Light Box, Roesalare.

On a recent trip ‘up north’

I was lucky enough to film my very own ‘cribs’ video of the new CIB offices in Ellesmere Port.  As you will see it was a strange and revealing visit where I was greeted by a life size Zebra.  It must be said that our new northern home is certainly plush, it even has lifts!  Jo Evennett, my account manager is now based in this office, but fear not-we are still able to keep in contact on a daily basis through the wonders of modern technology- ie- Skype!  Anyway enough of the talking, see for yourself the delights of CIB’s new northern home…

Never forget

Remember Take That first time around? Unfortunately, I’m not able to say I was too young to remember them coming on to the scene in 1989 - but I can say that in their formative years I had a really ‘cool’ boyfriend who played the accordion in a Pogues-esq. band and I wore green Doc Martins so I wasn’t allowed to be a fan. But as the years went on (and the boyfriends became less cool) I was eventually hooked. Jason’s my favourite - just in case you were wondering - but it’s the overall mix that works so well, with something (or someone) for everyone. And it’s the band’s combination of talent, looks and personality that have seen it rise from the ashes to become the greatest boy band ever!! (I will calm down now..)

The Future Of Web Design

Last month, I was let out of the office to attend the Future of Web Design conference at Kensington Town Hall. Organised by Carsonified and presented by Ryan Carson, this annual event brings together some of the web design industry’s leading figures to give insights into their specialist areas of expertise and their creative approaches, and hopefully the place to get a feel for where this is all going.
