Where do I start? I’m normally the person at the end of the phone who answers your call (Gerry speaking) and walks down 2 flights of stairs to let you in the car park (and out again), makes cups of tea and supplies biscuits for meetings and generally takes the brunt of everyone’s jokes. My nickname is ‘Mrs O’ given to me by Mr Cassie when going around emptying the bins when the cleaners hadn’t turned up (Mrs O - character out of Acorn Antiques played by Julie Walters). I have worked at CIB since 15th January 2007 after being made redundant on the 2nd January. Mr Cassie says he took me on because he liked my name (Gerry Cherry) but I think he just took pity on me as I was then the ripe old age of 57.  I have (almost) loved every day since but please don’t tell anyone because they’ll want my job!!!
