Whenever CIB begins working with a new client, the account team always invests time in training. Whether it’s meeting with a company’s technical and sales team, taking the factory tour or getting out on site to see products being installed - we think it’s crucial for the account team to quickly get to grips with a client’s business.
This week we were on site with our new client Spiral Cellars, to visit two residential properties - one in Kingston and one in West Horsley - having two different types of wine cellars installed.
The Spiral Cellar is the quickest and easiest way of incorporating a wine cellar in to a property. It’s a watertight, pre-cast cylindrical system that can be sunk into the ground under pretty much any location in a property - so we were looking forward to seeing the installation process underway.
The first site in Kingston was a long way from completion as we tentatively made our way to the back of the house, side stepping various tradesmen who were getting on with different jobs. We were able to ask the installation team lots of questions about the installation process and see first hand the ‘Original’ cellar option.
When we got to the second site in West Horsley - this was an entirely different site. The cellar was going into a private leisure centre located next to an existing property. This was the company’s White Spiral Cellar and the very top specification that was nearing completion. We were able to see the finishing touches being done including an LED lighting system, a final coat of white paint to the interior and a contemporary glass motorised door being installed as the Spiral Cellars team finished off the job.
This time we had an opportunity to actually walk down into the cellar (after thick sheeting was placed on each step to ensure no high heel damage was caused)! It was surprisingly spacious and after seeing the two cellars installed - the vote was unanimous: everybody wants a Spiral Cellar!
