Hands On at Installer Live

Emmie and I recently attended ‘Installer Live - The National Plumbing and Heating Show’ to visit our newest addition, Buteline. Travel mugs in hand, we made our way up the M40 to Coventry…

On arrival, we headed to the Plumb Station to watch Gary Fisher, National Sales Manager of Buteline, hold a very much ‘hands on’ seminar discussing the benefits of Buteline’s innovative plumbing system. The seminar attendees were given a Buteline plumbing fitting, length of Polybutene-1 pipe and a Buteline clamp tool and were invited to clamp the pipe and fitting together, proving just how quick and easy it is to use. We felt we should roll up our sleeves and have a go ourselves (since we had been practicing in the office anyway…)

The show as a whole had a lot to offer with exhibitors offering products and services key to the plumbing industry, helping plumbers to save both time and money.

After meeting up with all the key editors from the plumbing sector, we headed to the bar to claim our free beer (although I went for the cider myself and as the designated driver, Emmie had water) and take a well earned break before heading back down the motorway listening to Emmie’s somewhat questionable taste in music…...if you’re wondering, it was Mika.
