Committed to training

I went along to my first CPD seminar last week, in house at Kirby Cove Architects practice in Hertford. It was part of our process to re-design a client’s presentation and as they are also a new PR client, it was also a great way to get some in-depth product training.

Sitting alongside the practice architects, I was able to gain a greater understanding as to how the specification of materials and products arises and what the considerations are for the architect.

Following the CPD was a question and answers session. This enabled me to develop a better understanding of the key issues that face architects, straight from the horse’s mouth. This was a valuable experience that will inform many specification-focussed feature articles to come.
