Always in Training

We’ve had quite a few new client wins in recent months which means one thing - training, and lots of it!  For the PR teams in particular in-depth training on our clients’ products and services is crucial in order for us to produce good quality technical copy and it’s something that we invest in for every client we win - and on an on-going basis. (In fact, at a recent training day for one long-standing client we actually did as well as the sales team on the mini exam!)

It also means we are a real hit at parties!  Anything you want to know about linoleum, carpet tiles, LEDs, chemical water treatment for renewables, fire detection and alarms, clamp fit plumbing fittings, solar panels or compact kitchens and we are the girls for you - as these are just some of the products we’ve been trained on in the last three months.

Having a clear understanding or our clients’ products and the main issues that drive their business’ is what feeds good quality copy - and it’s why CIB places over 300 articles year on year for clients. 

Our aim for any new client is that within two months we are so up to speed that the first they need to know about a feature article is when it lands in their in-box for approval.  That’s the power of training.
